weekly update – 2014/12/20

I’ve decided to try a new format for updates, instead of trying to cram things into a post, I’ll have a weekly post about things that I’ve done during the previous week.

It will not replace the “real posts” about a specific component or a concept, but rather for smaller stuff that do not require a post of their own.

So what did we have this week?

  • DEDuino v1.1.4 is finally out! I’ve managed to find the time and sat for a long QA session on the new code changes on Due and Uno. Patch is mainly a refracting in nature, moving all the common config options to a central file. In addition getting the Uno’s performance back to exceptable was a goal, it was achieved by forcing “Bezel” and “RealFFI” off when uno is selected. more details can be found in the release post.
  • I’ve received the seat cushions back all stitched and ready to go. I’ve Velcroed them to the seat, as I climb over the chair to get in and out, and I didn’t want them to slip. ACESII - new seat cushion installed
  • I’ve got the code for the ICP started. No logic in it yet (and no electronics), still having trouble to get it compiled, but I’m sure I’ll get it sorted sometime soon…
  •  I’m (still) waiting on a big shipment to arrive with new DED boxes and some I/O expanders . hopefully that would get here soon 😐

That’s it for this week!

Cheers!
